You can find it at [composio.dev/toolkits/notra](https://composio.dev/toolkits/notra) and give ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or an agent you built yourself access to Notra's generative engine optimization (GEO) and answer engine optimization (AEO) tools. GEO and AEO are about how often AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews mention and cite your brand when people ask them questions. Notra tracks those answers for the prompts that matter to you, shows you which competitors appear in answers where you don't and helps you write content for those prompts. ## What changed You could already run Notra's GEO and AEO workflow through our [MCP server](https://www.usenotra.com/docs/devtools/mcp?ntr=xDjeXi1el8hwZm2p) and the [Claude connector](/blog/notra-is-now-a-verified-claude-connector?ntr=xDjeXi1el8hwZm2p), but agents built on other frameworks had to call our API directly. Composio now lists Notra in its toolkit catalog, so you connect your Notra account once and read your AI visibility data from every assistant and agent you run through Composio. ## How to connect Create an API key in your Notra settings and paste it on the Notra connection page in Composio. Composio encrypts and stores the key for you, and you can scope or revoke it in Notra whenever you want. After that, you can either create a Composio session scoped to Notra with MCP enabled and pass its MCP URL to your client, or call the Notra tools directly through the Composio SDK from your own agent loop. If you use Claude, our [verified Claude connector](https://claude.ai/directory/notra) is the quickest way to connect. ## What you can do with it The toolkit has 110 tools, and most of them cover the GEO and AEO workflow. Your agent can run scans against your tracked prompts and compare your share of voice and sentiment with competitors. It can also find content gaps, plan and approve content briefs and report how much traffic AI crawlers and agents send to your site. When a brief is ready, it can draft the post in your brand voice and schedule it in Notra. Here are a few prompts to start with: * "Run a GEO scan for our tracked prompts and tell me where we dropped since last week." * "Which competitors show up in AI answers for prompts where we don't?" * "Find our biggest AEO content gaps and draft a blog post for the first one in our brand voice." * "How much traffic did AI crawlers and agents send to our docs this month?"
