# Languages

> Scan your prompts in up to four languages. Notra translates each prompt and reports mention rate per language.

Pick languages under **Settings > Languages**, where English is on by default. A project can scan up to four of the 28 supported languages, and the prompt language always takes one of the four slots.

* Notra translates your prompts into each language before the scan, so you maintain one prompt list.
* Each added language multiplies the number of answers a scan uses.
* [Conversations](/docs/geo/conversations) and [brand sentiment](/docs/geo/metrics/sentiment) use answers in your prompt language.
* [Personas](/docs/geo/personas) only run when English is one of your languages.
* **Performance by language** on the GEO **Overview** page and `GET /geo/visibility/language-share` report mention rate per language.

## Supported languages

English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Dutch, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, Hindi, Russian, Turkish, Polish, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Czech, Romanian, Hungarian, Greek, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Ukrainian and Hebrew.
