# Serve your site under a path on Netlify

> Forward acme.com/blog to Notra with proxy rules in Netlify's _redirects file.

This guide forwards `acme.com/blog` to Notra with proxy rules in Netlify's `_redirects` file, where a rule with the status `200` proxies a path to another origin and the `!` forces the rule even when a file exists at that path. Read [the steps on every platform](/docs/sites/domains/subpath#the-steps-on-every-platform) first, and replace `acme.notra.site` with the Notra address on your site's **Domains** page.

    Put a `_redirects` file in the folder Netlify publishes (often `public/` or `dist/`), or add the rules to an existing one:

    Netlify uses the first rule that matches, so put these above any catch-all rule like `/* /index.html 200`.

    Deploy, open `https://www.acme.com/blog/_notra/probe.txt` to confirm the rule works, then click **Check** on the domain in Notra.
