# Plausible

> Send visits on your Notra site to Plausible Cloud or a self-hosted Plausible server.

Notra loads the Plausible script on every live page and allows its server in the CSP. It works with Plausible Cloud and self-hosted Plausible.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Add your site to Plausible">
    Use the [domain you added to Plausible](https://plausible.io/docs/add-website) without `https://`, or register a separate domain such as `blog.acme.com` if you want a dashboard just for your blog.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add it to Notra">
    Open **Studio → Sites**, select your site, open **Integrations** and click **Add Plausible**. Enter the domain in **Domain**. To configure it in your repository instead, add it to `blog.json`:

    ```json blog.json theme={"system"}
    {
      "$schema": "https://usenotra.com/schemas/blog.json",
      "name": "Acme",
      "integrations": {
        "plausible": {
          "domain": "blog.acme.com"
        }
      }
    }
    ```
  </Step>

  <Step title="Publish and verify">
    After you [publish the change](/docs/sites/integrations/analytics/overview#set-up-in-the-dashboard) and the production deployment finishes, visit your live site and check the realtime visitor count in Plausible.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Self-hosted Plausible

Add `"server": "plausible.acme.com"` next to `domain`, or enter the value in **Self-hosted server**. Use the server's hostname without a protocol or path, and include its port when needed, like `plausible.acme.com:8443`. Notra uses HTTPS to load the script and send events to that server, and an empty field means Plausible Cloud at `plausible.io`.
