Notra loads Google’s gtag.js, initializes the data layer and configures your Measurement ID on every live page. You don’t need another Google tag, and Notra adds the script and collection origins to the CSP for you.
1

Copy your Measurement ID

In Google Analytics, open Admin → Data streams, select your web stream and copy its Measurement ID, which starts with G-. This is the public web stream ID, not an API secret or a Universal Analytics UA- ID. See Google’s Measurement ID guide.
2

Add it to Notra

Open Studio → Sites, select your site, open Integrations and click Add Google Analytics 4. Paste the ID into Measurement ID. To configure it in your repository instead, add it to blog.json:
blog.json
3

Publish and verify

After you publish the change and the production deployment finishes, check the live site with Google Tag Assistant and look for incoming events in your GA4 property.
Google Analytics doesn’t load on PR previews or during local development, so always verify on the live site.
